I emptied the old oil out of my cossie sump and got half a mug of water out first, it has been stood a year with some of the breather pipes and block blanking bolts out and wondered if the head gasket had given up, block was cracked or could that much water be from condensation or what?? It fired up on all4 cylinders and hasnt lost water since i refilled the tanks with anti freeze, should I be worried?

 

I'd say it was condensation m8!

just keep an eye on the levels

 

Yeah thats what Im hoping cant be doing with any problems, not this year.

 

Oops not just condensation then as I got water vapour out of my breather?!??? And am losing water from the header tank Anybody got a low comp bottom end and mint head with flow work, may need it this summer then, give me something to do when I get back from my biking holiday
