saff 4x4 rear inner cv boot
mot due this week and need to change an inner cv boot on rear, whats the easiest way?

Unless using a split sticky boot, just unbolt the shaft, take one end off(circlip) easy job, I would get a pair of boots, as sods law the other one will split on the way to mot!!

cv gaiters are'nt a failable item on the rear inner or outer.

do i have to take the shaft off? if so what size is the nut on the hub side

Are they not, I didn't know that, bit daft though, was stopped years ago for no lights, as had daylight mot!!
