hi all
im after a bit of advice please,,ive just converted my efi escort cabby to turbo using a fiesta turbo engine,ofac ecu with a 165 chip.
ive got it running but it smokes (blue/grey)and smells oily and if i lift the oil filler cap i can smell petrol in the oil
there dosent seem to be any knocks or anything but it is a little lumpy

just wondering if this sounds like engine or just a fueling problem that would cause it

sounds like piston rings mate.

mate go ofab ive had and still got probs with my ofac put ofab and its sorted out
smoke ant that turbo seals i tryd 4 turbos t3 and then got a full recon one and it stoped just a suggestion mate

 

i was sort of hoping it was massively overfuelling but it has used oil
so it looks like a strip down oohh bugger

mine with ofac and t3 over fuels and sucks to much air
but ofab stops that for some strange reson

 

well i done a compression check tonight and found

cylinder 1 10bar
cylinder 2 8bar
cylinder 3 9bar
cylinder 4 10bar

so it looks like rings
oh well let the strip down comence lol
