has anyone fitted a round post battery in a 4x4 saph?
haven't actually tried fitting it yet but think i may have issues with the metal plate that goes on the back of the positive terminal.

is there some kind of junction box i can get that will sort this out neatly?

 

just buy a small conversion kit from the factory square terminals to round ones

or go to ford for the correct battery

 

the conversion posts cannot be fitted as it has the metal plate that carries the small wires bolted to the terminal.
just fitted the battery and can confirm that it doesnt fit and looks shite withe the conversion blocks!

do FORD terminal batteries, if like me you have extra wires on the battery, you can use the metal multi connector plate on the negative terminal, by bending the tab 180 degrees, it's what I did.
If needing/wanting though yes you can get isolated junction boxes to use on the neg or pos or both.

yeah ineed a junction box tab as i bought the batt last year as a square post and now cannot get it in a square post as a warrenty replacement, fuck paying for a new battery when the squares are being phazed out!
could you let me have a link for the junction boxes just need one for the positive,
also let us know of the link for the fog/brake light mod

I would put a link to the fog/brake light mod but haven't written it out and can't post if I do anyway, doesn't work for some reason.
I am happy to take piccies etc explain it, dead easy to do about 30-45 minutes to do, cost pennies, and email it to you, if you want, and ask you to host it up for me please ?
