Just got the wife's escort cab on the road today. First proper drive. When we put the roof down the car kept stalling at junctions and traffic lights.

I know you can't raise or lower the roof with the engine running. So is there a switch somewhere that isn't working, and the "car" thinks the roof isn't fully down?

As a side note, the idle does "hunt" at times. But never stalls. I have put that down to the engine not being run for over 6 months and just needs to "clear its throat"
