misfire through carb

hi i got a cvh escort i put a new head on,plugs rotar arm,diszy cap all the timing done but when hot it misfires through the carb help rob

You probably mean it spits through the carb, check the CO and the ignition timing, if really weak or advanced timing it can cause this.

thanks set the ignition timing with the light to the timing marks but it still does it when it gets to the right temp

I wouldn't take much notice of the ignition timing marks, ok to get it running, but best way is to tweak either way a touch at a time till you get the best result, still need to check the co.
