Default mondeo door glass removal

Hi. I need to replace a broken drivers door window....local scrapyard has one but haynes manual says you have to lower glass before removing....
so is it possible to remove glass without lowering it, cos obviously the electrics won't be working on a scrap car. thanks for any help. (mk1 glx mondeo).

You will struggle, there are two central bolts that need to be removed to take the glass out, You might be able to force the scissor lifts down manually but it will be a struggle.

The ball that carries the plastic wheel on the regulator can be popped apart from the plastic wheel.

drill the rivet on the mount holding the glass or bolts then pop off one roller then the other should do the job

Default thanks.....i got it out!

I had to cut through the upright ally channel & then through the cable (with a dremel). Took about 10 mins & 2 cutting discs. Couldn't have done it at a scrapyard though cos no elec supply & i don't have cordless dremel! Many thanks to those who replied.

If you where to remove the motot itself from the mechanish as its bolted onto it then would you not be able to push the window down as the motor wouldnt be holding it up anymore?
