hi all, i have tried to search for the answer but to no avail...i hope someone can help!
Recently I purchased from ebay some Wilwood Dynalite (lug mount) calipers and 280mm discs that were fitted to a fiesta turbo.
I tried fitting them at the weekend to my series1 and i found that when I tried to bolt the caliper in place using the annodised aluminium bracket provided I couldnt as it would not allow the caliper to line up with the disc.
It appears that the series1 escort has rather deep/high discs where as the discs I was given which i presume are mondeo or similar are quite shallow discs.
has anyone used these calipers before that could explain what i need to fit them
thanks in advance
Paul

I've added a picture to try and illustrate what i mean
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v60/paulc84/discs.jpg)
the yellow circle is the damper
the yellow block is the adaptor brackets i bought as part of the kit
the s1 disc is set further back than the 280mm unknown disc

Ah ok, does anyone make these??
I would rather run the discs set back further into the arch as opposed to the ones i bought as part of the bundle, as you can see in the picture above it gives more clearance on the wheels.
What discs should i buy to bring them back to the same line?

From those pics i, unknown 280mm disc, 2nd pic along.
Can you not just fit the bracket the other way around so that the L is pointing the other way? If you get my meaning?

Fiesta uses a much shallower disc than the Escort/Sierra. If you can find a suitable bracket, there's a big risks that most wheels will not fit over the calipers.
It would probably be easiest to find deeper discs. 2wd Cosworth front discs will probably be quite close.
You can find all the dimensions from the Brembo website. Here is the 2wd Cossie disc:

So looks like I need to purchase some cossie discs and put a 10mm spacer in there somewhere to make it 58mm like the series1!
Jimmy thanks for your reply too dude I apreciate the input, I have tried doing it the otherway but unfortunately it just doesnt work unlike it may look in the drawing!
The only way was to space the caliper out further but this has clashed with my wheels! I'm running 16x9 ET5 on the front so I really dont want it spaced out further, I'm already stretching the tyres enough!
