hi all.the bruvinlaws alternator packed in last week and it looks like ille get roped into changing it.hes got an old 98 mondeo 1.8 td lx.i think i can see it from under the bonnet on the passenger side.before i go on a mission to scrappys can any1 tell me if this is changable from under bonnet,(looks like ide need 4 ft arms to reach from underneath)if theirs more than 1 type of alternator on these and any tips to help me on a bit.cheers lads

thanks andy.this info is very helpfull,seems like a couple of hours work as i havent worked on a mondeo before.will print this out and give it a bash at the weekend.
