I have heard different ways to get the rev counter to work correctly after a coil pack conversion , what is the best way?

i.e mk 1 mondeo counter
re-wire
etc

Car is a 89 2wd saph running l8 ecu ( don't know if that matters)

Personally i'd rewire it, but i think you can get some rare late model of saphs that came with coilpack so you might be able to get a counter out of there.

 

the clock mod is best on the 4x4 saffs and works fine, so you may need to get 4x4 clocks, or do the diode pack mod

 

I just use a tacho driver (£30) works perfect.
