is it easier to swap from a 1.6 zetec to a 130 spec 1.8 zetec into a mk6 escort rather than a 2 litre?

wouldnt think so, use the parts of your 1.6 you need for the conversion, sump and a few other bits, inlet maybe cant remeber them all

difference with the 1.8 is it goes in without changing those parts but if you already have them...you may as well change them over

you still have to change the management so may aswell go for 2litre imo more torque and power too
