i hit the verge in the ice on Christmas day. it ripped off the front bumper on my rs seirra cosworth and punctured the radiator. i have got the new rad on now and filled with water. fitted the complete radiator, intercooler and fans.
Went to take it to the body shop today to have the new bumper spayed and fitted and have the stone chips in the bonnet sprayed. when i put my foot down it went the cut out for a couple of seconds the came back to life and went for a couple of seconds then cut out for 4 or 5 seconds again!!!!!!!!

any help please?

or even no what it could be ?

check crank sencor as its rite behind the rads and the wire hands down?

 

did u fill it with water only? hope its not something to do with your water tank/pipes being frozen mate

 

also check the crank pulley for damage as i damaged mine the other week!!

As said, hope u used antifreeze and not just water to fill it.....

 

no plenty of anti freeze in cheers

 

does it break the crank shaft sensor?

 

intercooler pipe split or not on proper ???

 

No all pipes are good and fitted correct. The actual engine cuts out got 3-4 seconds when acelerating then comes back to life for a 1-2 seconds then cuts out again and so on !!!!

 

Do the wiggle test on the crank sensor connector, see if it makes it stutter ?
