Engine is near built for my mk2 orion. . . Just struggling getting a new oil pump for the 2 litre zetec turbo build. Ive been told you need to use a 1800 oil pump in a orion mk2 or escort mk4 bay. Whats stopping me fitting the 2 litre oil pump. Has anyone on here fitted a zetec with the 2 litre oil pump?

 

the oil filter sits in the way of the chassis leg i think, u need a 1800 one from the likes of a rs1800 or XR2i 16v etc

 

Just sick of waiting for a new 1800 oil pump.

Anyone else??? Is this true, the 2 litre oil pump deffo wont fit in the MK2 Orion, MK4 Escort bay???

Waht about with a smaller oil filter fitted???
