Now ive got your attention,


Is it ok if i was to drill and tap the radiator end cap( just above the rad switch) and fit the an external water temp gauge sender?

The rad is a Airtec Alloy one.

I doubt the material would be thick enough for you to cut a thread. You'll probably have to have a threaded boss welded on.

What he ^^^ said, but you could also consider putting it somewhere else, like in the stat housing plenty thick enough there.

on mime i ve drilled the swirl pot and welded a bolt for the sender to screw on
