zetec-se 1.25 question
i have a 1.25 zetec se 31/12/2002 build date it wasnt registered untill 2003
the timing belt failed so i removed the head there was no damage to the valve but i changed them any way apon start up it sounded like a old ohv valve engine so i checked the clearances on the followers which are solid type they are all out i have checked the valve lengths of the new valves and the old valves and they are all 2.2 mm to short the engine code is dhf1 version 5C01 i have made a lot of phone calls and the only people i got any sense out of was fai and they said there is a longer set of valves any one heard of this b4 any help would be great, i supplied all the engine code build date and registration number to the auto factors what should i do
