cosworth fault
why when i connect and disconnect my phase sensor plug the fuel line pressures up have i got a wiring plug on wrong .does the brown plug on the engine loom go on to the brown sensor on the side of the inlet manifold
yes mate all the sensors are colour coded, the brown goes onto the inlet, blue the water temp on the back of the head, dizzy is the black one, CPS goes to the white one etc etc.
Does the car not run or something?!

Fuel can indeed go through to the turbo, and seep out the joins between the trousers and the turbo etc.
Check number 2 injector lead, by taking off and see if this cures it ?
If it does, did you or anyone else do any reapairs to the loom ?
I've only seen it once before, but when someone was taping up a ropey loom, they misplaced the iscv plug with the no2 injector plug, as they are the same length in the loom.
This resulted in the no 2 injector being pulsed continuously by the ecu thinking it was the iscv, which is pulsed continuously!!
