righty ho .. here goes 1999 escort 1.8 td ,, takes a long while to heat up ,once hot heater ok for 30ash miles then starts to blow cold check water in header its ok ,, undo water bleed tap {on thermostst pipe} let water replace airthen top up with bout2 pints of water no signs on any pipe or joint or signs of hesd gasket gone,,, any ideas anyone
ps there are 2 HARD PLASTIC GROMITS with small holes in are these supposed to be there ??????????????/

If thee that far down and both look the same chances are there suppose to be there. Might be somthin to do with slowing down the water flow for the best level of heat conduction
