ok guys the 2k is hunting badly on tick over ive had the idle speed control valve off the side of the air box cleaned it out with still doing the same the car must hunts like mad the cuts out ,,?????????

 

hello mate
have you cleaned out the throttle body as well as this can cause the same problem,
best way is to take it off and clean it out using carb cleaner,thinners, etc and an old toothbrush,
might be worth a try

yeah m8 thanks 4 reply,just got it sorted ,cleaned everything again,ie plugs,idle control valve,checked all connetions,,,all running sweet thank god,,

my mate had this on his rs2000 and for some reason the iscv was letting too much air in.
he took it somewhere and they just reduced the size of the holes and it works fine.
very wierd tho.
still think its a dodgy sensor or ecu myself.
