my fuel computer doesnt seem to work all the time if at all the last few journeys its not picking up on any instant economy and therefore its really out of touch with what is actually going on, any ideas?

the cars been sat for 5 years and the fuel computer seemed to be reading about 15mpg or worse for about 100miles average but its not correct as im sure its doing about 30mpg or there abouts

 

anyone? wiring doesnt appear damaged under rear seat etc how does this thing work out economy anybody know? cheers

 

If you look on the fuel piping feed there you will see a small device that measures fluid flow, this will have a electrical connection to it that goes to your fuel compy, so make sure first the connection is nice and good.
