front end knocking
hi dos anybody know wht the cause of my front end knocking is i can feel it under my feet and gets louder and faster as i speed up iv had cv joints checked their fine iv checked for buckled wheels there fine so could it be bushes on wishbone or something like that its a constant knocking and its doin my head in any help appreciated cheers

You're on the right track, checking bushes everywhere on the front suspension, but use a pry bar to try to get some movement in the bushes, also lever the joint on the track control arm and hub apart to see if there is play there.

cheers m8 spoke to a pal 2day and he said it could be bearings in the diff or summat cos he said its deffo to do we the drive of the car as it speeds up and slows down with the cars speed its more like a rubbing noiselike something is cathing somewhere and can feel it under your feet dont now think its bushes as when go up n down pot holes dont get no thud noise its real irrating at 40mph it sounds like a washing machine on the spin cycle its driving me mad cant even hear the stereo any more ideas appreciated

The diff is in the gearbox, this is what lets the wheels turn at different speeds, such as when going around a corner, this has bearings each side to support it, as it's quite a weighty affair.
If you take to any gearbox place and let them drive the car they will soon tell you, as it would be a lot easier than remote guessing.

hi could the clutch av bein the problem as started car 2day pressed clutch to put into gear and the clutch pedal stook to the floor i pull it back up and it just goes back to the floor could it av bein the bearings in the clutch and they have now gone completely if yes will it cause big problems and exspensive to repair regards orwin21
