I need some help please people. My car keeps losing power doesnt always happen but does happen alot. When i put my foot down the exhaust gets louder but the car doesnt speed up at all. the rev gauge doesnt rise. and i get a tapping noise which i belive is related coming from the engine bay. If i push the throttle the noise gets faster. like a tapping knocking noise.

Took it to the local garage but they couldnt find anything wrong with it. They checked the clutch and for air leaks in the turbo.

i'd give a tuner a ring, someone who knows about zvh's.

could be an airflow problem. could be timing. could be fueling.

try whoever built the engine too.

mfi/efi?
spec would help a little, could be followers dying or the cam very worn.

Sorry mate, It's MFI, T3 Turbo, Samco silicon hoses, running in a ford ka. has been running fine untill about the last 2 weeks. im located in herts/essex and not sure of many good tuners so any advice would be much appriciated

Also now the car miss fires when i put my foot down on the throttle and no power is grunts loudly through the exhaust then when i let go a massive miss fire.

Would check these and boost pipes arent split or leaking
