Im in the middle of rebuilding my s2 engine to go in my van
the engine was a good runner in my s2 running 180bhp
thought id rebuild it as its been standing for about a year.

the internals are fine so just a hone for the block
new rings to be fitted
i have arp con rod bolts
new main & bigend shell bearings
high pressure oil pump
i have smothed all the ports in the head
the ecu is chipped
and i have a newman cam & lifters new to be fitted with vernier pulley

Im aiming for around the 200 bhp will it be reliable to use daily??

My 200bhp fiesta rs turbo reliable, use it daily and do alot of miles also. Oxford to Watford 5 days a week if that helps. lol

Just get it setup by a good tuner, make sure its serviced, keep on top of the car is your key

yes should be reliable, as i had a 200+ rst used for a 50 mile round trip every day for a whole year,the key would be to keep on top..ie servicing
