hi was driving my van home on saturday when all of a sudden i couldnt get any gears except 3rd and 4th! took the gear selector out and it seemed to be seized sparyed it with a load of wd 40 but it back and it was ok but now i cant get 4th or reverse do i need a new selector? sorry for the long post.

ive had the same happen twice, the first time i got one from a breakers the second time i sprayed it with wd40 and it did the trick
a new one from ford is Ł120

 

yeah i tryed wd didnt work so bought a new one!
