hey i have been having problems with my rs turbo for awhile i have changed every thing fuel pressure reg plugs leads fuel pump u name it and still not running untill i unpluged this little black cube no bigger than 5 cm in lenght and 2 cm high with 3 wires coming out of the top one brown one yellow one brown/yellow pn is v90fb-12b509-aa its a ofab wiring loom does any one have any idea what it is and what it does ??

hey found out what it is but i cant find one any were its a suppressor does any one have a idea were i can get one from its off a ofab loom and plugs in to near the map sensor cheers

 

I suspected it to be a suppressor, they are pretty universal due to the job they do, just a bit to stop interference, so nick one from another car(ford) that fits, values are normally pretty similar anyway.

I have one in my hand , looking at trying to spec it and find if I can do some replacement ones , but as ford did not include this on wiring diagrams as ofab was only used early on then do not want to damage it in testing.
