Quick few MOT questions!
Hi all, got me MOT coming up and a few potential issues are outstanding and Im not sure whether they will need sorting or not.. if they do i would rather get them down beforehand!
Firstly, when I turn ignition on my airbag light warning light stays on for a few seconds after startup.. someone has hinted to me that this might be a fail? or just advisory?
Secondly, a while ago I snapped a locking bolt in my rear drum.. still havent got it sorted so Ive only got three bolts holding the rear wheel on.. is this a fail?
Finally, my NS front wishbone bushing squeaks alot everytime i drive.. it also clunks whenever a longitudinal force is applied along the car when braking or accelerating. is this squeak or clunk likely to cause an MOT fail? Im not sure whether there is 'excess travel' or not..
Would be greatful for any tips and advice!
Cheers,
Chris

For the airbag light, I'm not sure the test criteria doesn't include this yet.
The bolt broken missing is clearly a fail, might even put a dangerous notice in it, your arse will need some lube if stopped by the plod, so I'd get it fixed asap.

as for the airbag light that sounds about right for it should stay on 10 sec max after start up up so not a fail its a pass
as for snapped bolt if u can see the bolt missing its a fail if not its not testable eg if u have alloys its a fail if u have wheel trims covering the bolt pass
as for nocking if there is move mont side to side or up and down fail no movement pass the bushes have to hanging out to fail
hope this helps
