Default 403 injector fitting with MD chip

Hi i have just got a 380bhp chip from MD in the fitting instructions it says - Ensure the end caps on the bosh 403 injectors are modified to have a hole of at least 7mm in diameter or cut ends off completely.Dose this refer to the yellow cap on end of the injector? and is it best to just remove them?may be a silly question but dont want to damage them thanks any help welcome

I have removed the caps completely on mine when fitting and HAVEN'T had any running probs! just be carefull when fitting injectors into manifold that you dont knock the needle whilst trying to put them into the hole!

again I bought the 403 fitting kit and left the caps off the end also. I had no problems in doing so, well not unless they have caused the rot underneath the car
