can anyone advise. can I replace the non turbo diesel engine in my escort van with a turbo engine ?

Yes, but a bit more to it than meets the eye, ok if you have both vans side by side while you do it.
Another option is to N2O it, diesels respond exceptionally well to this.

turning the fuel pump up also common on diesels i beleive

You can turn the fuel pump up but ive done it to not much gain ! I was planning on the turbo diesel swap but was told on here that they would fit straight in no probs but would need the code reader for the key bypassed ! Hope this helps !

mk1 and 2 mondeo td engine will go in but what wiring will need to be done if any to a mk4 van,has anyone done this?
