Default rs 1600i cutting out

hi all just woundering if any body could help me with this problem i have.
from the start the runs and drives perfect apart from when im coming to a stop the car cuts out .basically when the car is runnin and i put my foot on the brake it cuts out.ive replaced all hoses and checked to see if they were in the right place which they are.

iv got a 16i myself with a v,similar fault check the fueling out!They are fitted with a decelaration conponent [ecconomy lights on instrument pack]its possibly the component that controls them at fault.

If it's running lean, applying the brakes can make a difference due to servo, but is it at the correct idle rpm to start with, could just tweak the mix richer a touch will often help, but if valve knackered on servo pipe this will also cause it as it introduces a air leak when brakes are applied.
