help! main beam wont work on my on my mk2 orion
hopefully someone can help.recently bought a well known orion off a chap on here.F230SEV.
side lights work and full beam works.
if i have the side lights on with engine running,i have the little side light bulbs on and also the normal bulb partially lights up,which is normal, but as soon as i switch to main beam, the partially lit bulbs go off and im left with just the little side lights bulbs.
if i switch to full beam the bulbs light up as normal.
ive changed the switch and also changed the relays at the back of the fuse box.but dont know what else to try.any help much appreciated as i cant use the bloody car at night as it is.

As said stalks play up big time on the mk2.
Failing that need to just trace the power from the stalk, you know it 's getting to the stalk as MB works, the full brightness dip as opposed to dim/dip merely bypasses the chopper relay, but is often connected to it, so basic just follow power route along.
It sounds daunting but once stuck in quite easy, if a bit long winded.
