Default wiring help please!

just in the final stages of fitting omex to my saph and now fitting the relays.

am i right in thinking i need to put a fuse along side the relays? (got 1 relay going to ecu and one will be used for fuel pump.

so would i be correct in putting a fuse in the switched (ignition) feed to the relays? what amp fuse should i be using? using the standard ford 40 amp 4 pin relays if that makes any odds?

Ford had the fuses the supply to the relay, not in the switched feed.

You always supply the feed 30 or 30/51 with the fuse between it and the power source/battery.
