mk1 fiesta 5speed
i have a 1.1 valencia fiesta.
im thinkin about puttin a mk1 xr2 cossflow in it.
how hard it it to put an rsturbo 5speed box in.
someone said you have to cuz some of the chassis and get new driveshafts. another person said it jus couldnt be done.
anyone know ??????????

hi there yes you do have to cut some of the front leg the fiesta centre do a kit for the conversion they will point you in the right direction cheers james

You do indeed have to cut out a section of the chassis so it clears the five speed, then box it back in to put strength back, easy to do if you want, afaik 99% sure no new shafts needed.
