8 injector setup?

Default 8 injector setup?

right, im thinking of buying one of these for use in the near future,


thing is im not to sure what else i would need to get it set up on my l6 ecu.
i know i would need another set of greens and a live map but not to sure how or what i would need to get the second loom working?
anyone help me out please?

Darren i maybe way off and probably am but i think you need L8 to run 8 injectors.

8 Injectors with the correct soft/hard ware will work on any ecu, rs500's were Level1

Personally i favour 4 large injectors over 8

Sorry to jump on your post but wouldn't eight small injectors be more precise than four big ones?

(Question directed at PJay but anyone can answer )

All down to the mapper but technology today with these large injecors is good and they are spot on

modern ecu's will control single large injectors precisely enough to not be any problem.
One major benefit of 4 large injectors, is IF one goes down for some reason, you won't melt your engine, it will just run on 3 cylinders. If one of 8 goes down, it will almost certainly cause damage, as that cylinder will still be getting a weak mixture from the single injector that is still working..
