Just had the head recond on my sierra and was told it was smoking badly and the turbo had gone, put a new turbo on and its still chucking out thick white smoke, i have been told it might be oil in the exhaust but would it make that much smoke? Any ideas???
STEAM is water, white smoke is normally a oil leak into exhaust side of turbo, like del boys reliant, it's just a pipe feeding oil into the rear box.
It could just be all the old oil coming out, and it can take ages.
