What Speakers would be the best for my escort Cab looking to epgrade the front and rears with a sub in the boot just not sure what size speakers i need or what would give me the best sound

 

What year escort cab do you have mate ? As the speaker sizes vary depending on if youve got a mk3/4 or mk5/6 .

i'm just in this process, I'm starting with jbl 17cm speakers in the footwells and a 12" sub in the boot, then see how it sounds from there

 

Subs normally sound ok with the roof up but as soon as you put the roof down,unless you got some sort of port ,its hard to hear the bass.Im thinking of puttin a spacer on the back seat so it sits just proud of the shelf so it lets the bass out.
