As the title says... is there a reason most people upgrade their actuators in order to increase boost rather than install a manual or electronic boost controller? Is it just the cost factor? Any other benefits? Just wondering...

I have used elec. controllers in the past (not on a cossie) and have had no problem whatsoever, they are a bit of a pain to setup (fuzzy logic) but has worked very well for me.
