right i'm currently swapping my mk6 vans driver door only prob is i've got the old 1 off but there arent any door pins on the replacement only loops that the pins go through do i need new pins as the old 1's don't seem to come out

knew it was goin 2 easy

do i need new pins?

answer needed asap cos i don't really wanna be puttin the old door back on

 

when i changed my door i just used a 7mm socket on my air drill and it cum right off

 

the pins will come out of the old door, just need a lot of knocking with a big hammer and the correct size drift, heating up the loops a bit can only help i suppose.
How did you get the old door off without moving the pins? disconnect from the A pillar?
