Default escos rev counter prob....

My rev counter keeps bouncing when the car is trying to start, it gets that bad that twice the rev counter needle jumps up that far up the rev counter scale that the needle drops past
the 7,ooo rpm point settles on the bottom of the right hand side of the counter, so when you start the car the needle comes up and hits the bottom of the resting pin where the needle rests when engine not running!
The car has just had a waisted spark conversion done and the rev counter worked perfect before this was carried out.
Can anybody help me with this prob?

Thanks for taking time to read this.

Pretty sure you need to do a wiring mod in the form of a bridge on the back of the rev counter when you have wasted spark carried out.

The thing I fitted was a tacho amplifier, to increase the signal so that it gets read correctly, cost me about £30.
