Default s2 rst rear hub nuts

had my car on the ramps the other day an checked for play in the rear wheel an there was so took wheel an that off to find the nice new shinney nuts on both sides( so its been changed in the last year i would say ) were lose was able to lossin it by hand so i nipped them up an ran it for few days checked it again today an they are both loose again any reason for this is it common or is it another problem i need to sort along with the steerin rack you know i have not had a peep of bother ( touched every item of wood in my house ) from my engine just my suspension an steerin cheers am new to this ford game

Do you have the locking crown and split pin on the nut?

The nuts supposed to be hand tightened and then the locking crown and split pin go on top and that should be it.
