over voltage protection device (where is it?)

Default over voltage protection device (where is it?)

i have got an xr2 which i am converting to a s2 engine and management i am left with one wire that goes to the over voltage protection device can anyone please tell me where i can find it cheers for any help matthew

HI,
When you say overvoltage device are you saying (relay) and what colour wire have you left over, is this out of 3, wire's, plus what year rs rurbo loom are you using,

that should be a black & green wire, this goes to the KE relay ( brown one with KE on the top), this has three pins which r numbered
pin 87 = black/green
pin 85 = earth
pin 86 = switched positive supply

HI, MATTHEW.
As mentioned above, earlyer 3, or 4, wires, depending on loom model, series 1,above heater motor by ecu's, yellow, if s2 in fusebox brown relay(ke) on it,
although manual may say by fuel pump relay,
