Default Sapph 4x4 breating issues

Hello all, sapph 4x4 fsh 64k, the lad i sold her to had the turbo fail and now she's running on 3cyls, all have spark and all injectors appear to be pumping ok, he say's there is quite alot of "smoke" coming from the engine breather that connects to airbox is this normal??

sounds like somits melted!
if it were mine i would have the head off
how did the fault appear?

If the turbo has failed as you say , the chances are that its pumping "boosted " air into the crankcase past the seals in the turbo !
This is probably why its breathing heavily , and possibly why its only on 3 cyls .
get the turbo changed and see if it cures it !

Piston? Melted? bit drastic advice there guys, i'll go with tony, change the turbo and run it and go from there

HI,mate,
Sounds like piston, compression problem and causing crankcase pressure building up in sump, do a compression test to check and if down, have the injectors flow checked to see if any are suspect ie cylinder running weak, or over boosting, setup problem , sort problem before it happens again after repair,
