Hi iam new to the site and wondering if anyone can help with this problem
My s2 escort has been off the road for some time now and the only thing stopping me MOTing it is the brakes basically they don't work i have replaced the master cylinder and nothing is any better.
I put it up on stands today and ran the wheels up to about 30mph the left brake works straight away but the other one comes on really slowly and seems to be binding a little after. the calipers are free cos they push back quite easily. Is it something to do with the abs a valve or something ?
any help is much appreciated thanks

 

it could be the abs pumps if its bin sitting for a while, i cut mine off cos i dont think there safe, but make sure if ya do take off the abs off the remove the bul from the dash
