s1 over heating

Default s1 over heating


aaaaarrrrrr can any one help,my car warms up an i put the fans on at about 60,70
then it keeps rising ,,,,,,, it helps a bit if i put the heating on, im runing about 18,19 psi ,alloy rad from air tec big front mount twin fans right on the rad????????
dose any one now how good these rads are ???

Airtec are very good, certainly the best vfm as well.
Is it overheating ?, what happens if you don't put the fans on, what temp thermostat you got in there ?, why are you putting the fans on before it's up to operating temperature ?

It's got no thermosat in it. If don't put the fans on early it will just rise an rise with the fans an heating on it will sit just under 100
it's so hot that when you open the bonnet you can't even touch the bonnet stands lol

You've most likely got a shagged water pump or blowing head gasket, if it's doing that with no stat.

fire it up see pop cap off header tank see if water is flowing then that will sort eliminate water pump
