hi ive stripped down my zetec e silver top engine ,took the head off and ive noticed a little lip in the bores at the top of the block.i carnt get my nail in it so i wondering if i can get away with building it back up again with out a rebore?

 

how many miles has the block done but tbh your best bet is to get a vernier guage and measure it all, if your going through the trouble of stripping the engine all down then i'd have it bored and fresh pistons but just depends on how long you want to keep it, your budget ect
