hi ive got a mk3 escort 1983 model and just lowered it the back sits nice but the front is high any ideas why? its the 2 bolt top strut at the front

ive had this befor with a mk2 fiesta and tbh there aint much you can do.

all tho the hole car is lowered it will never sit how you want it unless you fit coil overs IMO

 

As the fronts are harder might settle a bit in a few days/miles.

Is it an early 83 with the "two bolt" attachment of the strut tops in the front. If so, the spring length is different if you stil have the original type shocks and fitting a post 83 lowering kit, will easily make it sit wrong. After 83 the spring lower platform attachment height was moved. I can't remember what was the direction though...
