Exclamation focus diesel slow at pulling away

focus 1.8 tddi running sweet when idling, but when you engage gear and go to pull off the engine revs but car moves very slowly its a nightmare at junctions and roundabouts. it feels like trying to pull away in 3rd gear and the noise is like the clutch is dipped , although clutch engages all gears fine

any ideas??? had alook round site but not come accross this

great site by the way and sorry for the 1st post!!

thanks in advance

mike

tbh i dont think so, the clutch to me seems fine i think it may be something to do with the engine side , although i will look into your suggestion.

thanks

Unhappy

spot on m8 after looking around other sites for clutch problems i came accros the 4th gear test, mines just sat there and never stalled. Thanks for pointing out the clutch as it was something i never even thought of!.

i was sure it had something to do with the engine or turbo.

any ideas roughly
how much cost is involved?
