hi i have a fiesta turbo with a 1.8zvh it has decompression plate biege injectors t3 turbo double cap itercooler k&n full stainless and up rated fuel pump i been trying to get a chip to run it contacted evoution chips told them the modifications as above and they asked for the compression ratio i said i dont no they said we wont do u one its to dangerous i have no idea wot it is so can any one help its all i need just fully restored my car been waiting 3years and cant wait to drive it all it needs is moting but i dont want to drive it running standerd set up please help
You would need to know what pistons you have and the size of the decompression plate to have a chance of working out the cr. If they are standard zetec pistons you can find out what the standard cr is and go from there
I am sure someone else will have a better idea.

the compression ration should have been checked be for the engine was built
yeah but i bought the engine off some one that works at mtec automotive but he tells so many lies he says that with the standerd ecu u just turn the boost up and ecu adjusts fuel to suit it and says it will run fine which is rubbish it that was true u wouldnt need chips and the scary thing is he is a rolling road and re maping specailst so still need ratio and have no clue all this is new to me
