Default mk6 1.8 td tuning help please??

hiya guys i have a mk6 1.8 td and want to get more power out of it...
i have put a huge k'n filter on it with a cold air suply and i have a bleed valve on the way and a dump valve which i havent got a clue where either goes so im gunna need sum help with that
also.......does anyone have any other tips to get more power

but it think heat wrapping and loosing weight would be the easiest/cost effective mods

bigger intercooler n front mount it, bigger boost pipe, i put a mondeo td eng in my van n changed gear box n it went ok

Air side is not really going to do anything on a diesel, so concentrate on upping pump pressure, a lot easier on some than others Lucas(cav) are easy though.

if you have the right injection pump you can ajust it to allow more fuel in. it will become smokey though.

a small ajustable restrictor in the wastegate pipe will allow you to raise the boost as well.

its abit micky mouse though, hard on the engine and smokey. especially off boost.

and put the dump valve in the bin.

its a derv you dont need one.
