Default AMAL/ACTUATOR setup

I have read the archive tuning essays and have a couple of question, I have a T34 .48 with -31actuator on std comp stg3chip with 23psi held on previous car, with a std new AMAL valve with std restrictors. i would like to know exactly what I should be doing to set my new turbo up, I want a Max of 24 PSI and it must come in smoothly low down in the rev range as I am using it for drifting.

SOOoooo... to set the actuator do I disconnect the AMAL and tension the actuator (half the rod hole) to 10PSI on my boost guage then re connect the AMAL valve, what exactly do I have to do to the AMAL to get this smooth application of boost low down? And will the ECU do the rest so long as fuel pressure and mixture is correct? These cossies are complex, just need it to run well before I take it to be set up by a pro with Water injection, cam pulleys, new intercooler etc to get the most lag free power I possibly can.

Regards Mark C.
