Default ST170 induction

Been thinking about doing something with the induction on my St170 but not sure what to go for.....

I have been doing alot of reading through different sites but can't really find an answer as to which is the best option. I have read that the St has a good system anyway and that just changing the panel filter to a K&N panel filter could be the best option and also the cheapest. The thing is I am hoping for a little more induction noise and better throtle response. Will the K&N provide this or do I need to look at other options?

I have already removed the resonator box but found this make little or no difference.

Cheers.

The airbox will stop a lot of the noise, so maybe a cone type filter, as they are much much louder.

Went for the K&N panel filter in the end, just waiting for it to turn up now.
