if the car is still running you can use a block tester. type in block tester on that online auction site.

you can buy block tester fluid/ kits; basically you run the car and put a tube in the header tank and fill with a fluid, if the fluid changes colour you've got a problem

the only issue with using this fluid, it not only detects cracked blocks, it also detects cracked heads, warped heads & gasket leaks (especially head gaskets)

it detects exhaust gases in the header tank, the fluid turns to yellow if detected

I just need to determin if its the block or head still running was going to take head off and send it away and then try and check block. Had the head sent off found a little crack had it repaired and put it back on blew head gasket within 20 miles. So not taken it apart yet but will be soon.

Cheers
